Currently, I play a key role in the in-house marketing team at AIS who are the largest independent non-food buying group of its kind in the UK and Ireland. As a midweight graphic designer, I am responsible for providing creative solutions across multiple channels. I collaborate with a number of colleagues, both creative and from the wider business, to develop high-value digital solutions. Some of my latest key projects include:

INDX Shows: On-site events for independent retailers and members

  • Creating bespoke INDX signage and graphics for each show, along with assisting exhibitors with their show graphics

  • Creating online and offline digital outputs used for marketing before and during the shows for a diverse audience which enhances their experience.

  • Supporting the social media team with visual content (motion graphics, short videos, photographs) and mentoring the team on the INDX brand and tone of voice to ensure all posts are consistent with the brand.

  • Working with a team to develop virtual show spaces to “visit” during the pandemic.

  • For each show, leading all stages of pre-production, filming and editing for short videos of day 1 to encourage further attendance of the show followed by a highlight video to promote future shows.

Product Directories: Members’ catalogues of products available procured by AIS

  • Developed and maintain standardised formats of product directories for different AIS departments.

  • Developed and maintain an automated system to populate product directories resulting in improved consistency, reduction in creation time by 75%, significant reduction in errors due to minimising manual transfer of data.

  • Mentoring the creative team and product procurement teams on this process once it was formalised.

AIS Re-brand

  • Played a key role in the development of the new AIS brand from concept and now through to implementation with the launch of the new brand in October 2022.

  • Taking a lead role in ensuring all existing asset templates and all new design outputs are aligned to the brand guidelines.

 

As part of our marketing stratagey we created a hightligh video of the years INDX shows to show the support that AIS provids to our Indipendent retailser at the INDX Shows.

 

Thes two videos are the first examples of a new style of event video for 2023.

 

Below are Videos from 2022 INDX shows where I was responsible for creating a day 1 video for Social media (square) designed to be a quick snippet of the show and to encourage more visitors to sign up for the rest of the show. The second video I was responsible for is a general highlight video that covers what happened at the show and is then used as promotional material for the next show.
